Lauren Kosakowski is a 25-year-old artist from Aberdeen, New Jersey who currently lives in Lexington Park, Maryland. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in December of 2023 as a high honors student, Magna Cum Laude, with a BFA in illustration.

She is an avid animal lover and has two cats, Louie and Honey, and two birds, Rikki and Diamond who inspire her work. In her free time, you can find Lauren enjoying live concerts, being with her loved ones, and hanging out with her pets. Her family always says Lauren would be the person who would take in every stray animal if she could.

Not only does Lauren work as an animal portrait artist, but she also dabbles in traditional mediums, graphic design, is a children’s book illustrator and more! She also uses her spirituality, her love for animals, and using bright vivid color palettes through her artworks.
